Sacramento County Adult and Senior Division staff, Heidi Richardson and Debra Nussbaum, attended the CBS April 27 Shabbat service and provided a great deal of helpful information for Older Adults in our community. The link below is the information that was presented. Following that Shabbat service, congregants had the opportunity to participate in a healthcare survey during the oneg. Out of that survey, “Accessibility to Healthcare” as our highest priority. The CBS Social Action Committee is beginning to conduct research related to this issue. Our next meeting is Thursday, June 14 (2012) at 7 pm at CBS.
